EMCC Accreditation

The TLIM program is fast-track accredited with the EMCC. That means that if you, i) complete the program stages 1 and 2, and ii) have 50 hours of team coaching under your belt, then you can become accredited in less than a week – as a Team Coach Practitioner. You will complete 6 of those hours on the program itself, and you can include coaching hours conducted before the program commenced. If you don’t have 50 hours experience you can either become accredited at the Foundation level, or just wait until you have the 50 hours. To become accredited at the Practitioner level you will also need to apply for your individual coach accreditation, for which you need 100 hours of experience coaching individuals.

Stage 2 of the TLIM program is entirely optional, designed specifically for those wanting to go on and become EMCC accredited. It entails preparing a short essay on your own personal approach to team coaching, an opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to reflective practice.

Practitioner is the 2nd of 4 levels of accreditation with the EMCC. If you think you qualify as Senior Practitioner then we ask you to provide evidence that you meet those requirements and, if we agree, we can recommend to the EMCC that you be accredited at that level. If you believe you qualify as a Master Practitioner, then you should contact the EMCC direct.

To become accredited you will of course be asked by the EMCC to become a member and pay accreditation fees directly to them. The accreditation is renewable every five years.

Our program became accredited in November 2024 and eight coaches have already become accredited.
